Negotiations for the erection of a building of 55 storeys in New York, at a cost of £10,000,000 have been concluded by tlio French Government.

The structure will be called Le Palais do France, and will serve as the trench cultural, industrial and commercial centre for America. It will be one of the largest buildings in the world, and will cover a city square.
