COMMENT IN LONDON.
FAVOURABLE REFERENCE MADE

" The Times this week makes favourable reference in a leading article to New Zealand finance," slates a cablegram received by the Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, to-day from Sir James Parr, High Commissioner in London.
" That is exceedingly satisfactory, in view of the fact that 110 effort has been made by the Government to influence public opinion," said tho Prime Minister in a brief comment. "It is also reassuring to those in New Zealand who are having certain misrepresentations made to them at present in connection with tho proposals contained in the Budget."
