WAIUKU, Tuesday
The Waiukn Town Board met last evening, tho chairman, Mr. J. J. A. James,
presiding. The contract for trenching for the water mains in Colombo Road and Kitchener Houd was let to Messrs. I?, and 'G. Holmes at 12s 6d a chain. • The chairman and Messrs. 11. Fjavell and A. Duthio were appointed to inquire into the matter of the drainage of tho recreation reserve and report to a special meeting of the board to be held next. Monday.
