SUNSHINE GUILD.
ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual meeting of the ladies' auxiliary of the Community Sunshine Guild was held last week and wag presided over by the president, Mrs. N. E. Ferner. A ..report, by the president showed the varied field of activities undertaken for tlio benefit of children. These included tlie work of the instructors who attended the club at night time and gave the children opportunities for learning millinery, dressmaking, physical culture, first aid, dancing and dramatic work. The reports from the various committees wero also received. The balance-sheet showed an amount received of £I2OO for two years.
Special reference was made by tlio president to the generosity of Mr. John Court, who had recently presented to her for the Children's Club a Jensen-Mooro piano, 110 had also given some time previously valuable gymnasium equipment. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mrs. Ferner; vice-presidents, Mesdarnes A. Kinder, T. U. Lees, W. Napier, A. Nathan and I). Nathan; lion, treasurer, Mrs. Miller; lion, secretary, Mrs. Pratt; committee, Mesdarnes Blomfield, Davics, Fletcher, Hughes, Jones, Jackson, .lull, Nielsen, O'Brien, Rainger, and Williamson.
