Tho following team has boon f elected by Mr. V. R. -Meredith, aolo selector to the Auckland Rugby Uuion, to represent Auckland against Ilawko'n Bay in the match at Eden Park noxt Saturday : Fu.lback: Butler.

Reserves: Forwards, Fletcher, Palmer. Audoruon, Righton; backs. McManUS. Jeukin, Cauimick, L. Hook. The exclusion of Cammick comes as a great surprise. Evidently tho selector was not satisfied with Bush at centre, and is giving him a trial at fivo-eigbtlis at tho expense of Cammick. Lucas now comes into contre, and it seems tho back team would combine to more oilert if Cammick wero inside him. Tho Ponsonby Club backs would then all bo in lino with tho exception of Corner at half and Minna on tho wing. There aro not two bettor attacking players in Auckland in their respective positions than Cammick and Lucas, and tho pair have executed many clover movements in club football during tho past few seasons. Ono forward had to bo omitted to make way for McWilliams. but whoever it was would bo unlucky. Anderson is certainly up to the standard of representative Rugby. Keene. who is now tit again, will strengthen the team, which should give another good exhibition and prove difficult to defeat. L. Hook did not olay up to form in Australia, and his omission from tho Auckland rearguard is not surprising. Mr. F. E. Sutherland has been appointed refereo for tho match.
