Tho Palincrston North Chamber of Commerce this_ evening decided to advise tho Government that the importers in business at Palmer*km North considered that an additional duty of at least 5 per colli, should bo placed on all American goods imported into New Zealand, r.o long as importers were given reasonable notice of the increase.
