Tho Glen Eden Town Board, pursuant to the provisions of Section 9 of " The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1920," and under authority of a resolution of the Local Government Loans Board, sanctioning the loan proposals passed at a Meeting on July 23, 1929, hereby gives notice:— . , . . 1. That it proposes to engage in tho lollowing undertaking or public work which it is duly authorised by law .to do, viz., Formation, Improvement and Metalling of Upper Brandon Road. Waimai Road and Clayburn Koad from Brandon Road to West Coast lioad, in tho Glen Eden Town District. 2. That the Board, being unable to provide funds for such works out of its ordinary revenue, proposes to raise a Special Loan lor such purposo. 8. The sum proposed to bo borrowed is £950, at a rate of intefest not exceeding £5 10a per centum per annum. 4. That tho Security for the said loan will be a Special Rato of 14-C-ld in the £ on the rateable (based on tho unimproved) value of all rateable property in the Glen Eden Town Dis5. That tho said loan will bo repayable at the end of Twenty Years, with provision for establishing a sinking fund of £3 per centum per annum, calculated on the amount raised. G.
