Y.W.C.A. ACTIVITIES.
The monthly meeting of the board ot directors was lield on 1< riday morning And Mrs. C>. 11. Wilson presided. In regard to a discussion on women police, it was unanimously Agreed that tbo i.W.L.A. heartily support the agitation for their appointment in New Zealand. Protective work of this kind was considered highly desirable and it was urged that the right legislation be drawn up, making it. possible for women police to function where needed most. An expression of appreciation of Mrs. T. Clark s services was recorded. . ,
