Mrs. Basil Caxloux, Miss B. Carnachan, Missi Ellen Melville, Miss F. K. Jackson and Miss Alice Hasten, who have been visiting Wellington in connection with the conference of. the Dominion Reform League, have returned to Auckland.

Mrs. Steer, widow of tho late Captain Steer, of the British Navy, will leave England shortly, on a visit to New Zealand. An Aucklander by birth, Mrs. Steer is the only daughter of Mrs. and tho late Mr. A.'" B .Donald, at one time of O'Rorkw Street.
