AUCKLAND REFEREES. The Auckland Rugby Referees' Ahkoimiution met last evening, Mr. M. Kronfold presiding. Mr. E. W. (,'ulpitt was passed in his oral examination as a fully qualified member.

Mr. P. Stubbing was appointed to referee the match. Referees v. Kaipara juniors, subject to approval by Kaipava. Mr. A. A. Lucas was welcomed back to tho association after a few seasons' absence.

Mr. If. Frost suggested referees should adopt a uniform system of placing tho ball in tho scrum and endeavour to interpret tho advantage rule as liberally as possible.
