En route from Liverpool tho Now Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tasmania reached Colon last Tuesday morning and sailed from Balboa the same evening, in continuation of her voyago to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The vessel is bringing general merchandise from West Coast ports of Great Britain. Sho is due at Auckland on August 27. THE CANADIAN CONQUEROR. The Canadian Conqueror, which was duo at Auckland from Wellington at 11 o'clock last night, reported yesterday by wireless that sho was being delayed by a south-west storm in the Bay of Plenty and would not arrive until to-day. The vessel will berth at King's Wharf to complete loading general cargo for New York, Boston and Montreal. She is _to be despatched for New York this evening or to-morrow morning. PAPANUI FROM LIVERPOOL. With cargo from West Coast ports of Great Britain the Federal Lino steamer Papanni was despatched from Liverpool on August 3 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth, according to advice received by the New Zealand Shipping Company. She is scheduled to reach Auckland on September 16. MAKURA DUE 2 P.M. Wireless advico received from tho Royal Mail liner Makura states sho will arrive from Vancouver, via Honolulu and Suva, at two o'clock this afternoon. Sho will berth at Prince's Wharf to land passengers. cargo and mail for New Zealand and to embark passengers for _ Australia. At five o'clock to-morrow evening sho is to resume her voyage to Sydney. On account of tho Marama being withdrawn from the intercolonial service the Makura will be the only passenger steamer to leave Auckland for Sydney this week. NORTHERN COMPANY'S VESSELS. Tho Northern Company advises that owing to the Apanui being at White Island assisting in the salvaging of tho Paroto, her trip to Mercury Bay will be taken by tho Tuhoe, which is to leave Auckland at five o'clock this evening. Tho Pono will bo despatched to Whananaki and ports at five o'clock this evening in place of tho Tuhoe. Tho Otimai and Toa are to bo despatched for Bay of Plenty ports at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning, tho Otimai for Opotiki and the Toa for Whakatane. THE TUTANEKAI. The Government steamer Tutanekai arrived from Wellington, via East Coast lighthouses, on Saturday morning, and is at Central Wharf. The work of landing stores at the various lighthouses and beacons was delayed at every jdace called at owing to boisterous weather and rough seas. After replenishing her bunkers today. tho vessel will return to East Capo to complete landing stores there, and then she will attend to the buoys and beacons in tho Hauraki Gulf. Toward the end of the week she will return to Auckland to load stores for Northern lighthouses. SYDNEY PASSENGER SERVICE. Tho Union Company's intercolonial steamer Marama is due from Sydney tomorrow morning. Sho will berth at Central Wharf to land passengers, mail and cargo. After dischargo tho vessel will be withdrawn from tho service to undergo overhaul and survey. The only passenger steamer leaving Auckland for Sydney this week will be tho Royal Mail liner Makura, which is duo from Vancouver to-day. and is to sail for Sydney at five o'clock tomorrow evening. Tho Makura has been relieving tho Royal Mail liner Niagara, which will resumq in the Vancouver service from Sydney on August 22. Tho Makura will transfer into the intercolonial service in place of tho Marama, and will leave Sydney for Wellington on August 23.
