OUTBREAKS OF FIRE.

CASES OF MINOR DAMAGE. c Extensive damage to a bedroom resulted from a fire in the second storey of a shop occupied by Mrs. M. Hall at 242 a, Karangahape Roai\, at. 6.50 on Saturday evening. The City Fire Brigade was summoned and confined the outbreak to the room. Tho building, which is owned by Mr. Sholmerdiiio. was insured with the contents for £450 in tho Alliance office. A second call was received by the City Brigade at 9.14 p.m. to a bouse at 14, Pollen Street, owned by Mrs. D. Willis and occupied by Mr. T. M. Jones. The kitchen was extensively damaged. The house was insured for £SOO in the Royal office, and the contents were insured for £225 in the Phoenix office.
