The Evening Standard announces that Sir Drummond Fraser, formerly managing director of the Manchester, Liverpool and District Bank, was found dead in bed, with his fhroat cut. Ho was a helpless invalid. A verdict of suicide while of unsound mind was returned at an inquest concerning his death. A'British official wireless message says f;ir Prummond was found dead in bed at his house at Blakeney, on tho coast of Norfolk. Ho lost his two sons in the Great War and his wife died recently. The depression caused by Sir Drummond's domestic troubles was aggravated by physical infirmity, he having lost the uso of his legs. Tho knowledge that he would never again occupy the great position he had once held weighed heavily on his mind.

/Sir Druinmoml Drammontl Frascr was born in 1867. He was connected With various commercial and banking institutions, and was a vice president of the Institute of Bankers. lie was organiser of international credits under the League of Nations, 1921-22. He Vas created a K.B.E. in 1920.
