A ftECENT FIND. Tho library of Isaac Newton, consisting of 858 volumes was recently found in an English country-house, and is shortly, to bo offered for sale in London. Many of tho books show actual marks of Newton's handwriting, and twenty have his autograph, ono written in March, 1661, in a Latin-Greek dictionary, being probably tho earliest autograph of Newton known By far the most important books in tho collection are tho lirst and second editions of " Principia." Thpy uro corrected copies, which form tho basis oi later editions. "It is not too much to say that tho discovery of these copies forms tho most important bibliographical find in tho domain of science that has been mado in recont years." L'heso are tho words of Messrs. Sotheran Ltd., the King's booksellers, who aro offering the collection for sale.
