DANCING.

A number of new dance novelties will be played by the Dixieland Danco Band at the Dixieland Cabaret this evening, when dancing will continue until midnight. The Dixieland Boys will present a novel act, and an exhibition of tho Slow Fox Trot will bo given "by Miss Kathleen O'Connor and Mr. B. Cross. Tho annual prize-night of tho Tamaki Yacht Club will be held in the Imperial Theatre, Kohimarama, on Tuesday evening. Tho presentation of prizes will bo followed by dancing and supper. Dancing will he held at the Moulin Rouge Cabaret from ten to twelve o clock this evening, when a party of petty officers from tho Tourvillo will bo present Lew Jones' orchestra of 10 players will feature tho latest danco numbers, and an enjoyable evening is promised. Another cnjovablo dance will ho held at'the Click Clack Cabaret this evening. The ballet troupe, which has been trained by Miss Oweiith McNanghtan, will give an exhibition of the Yale Blues, while Clyde llowley's " Internationals ' _ will feature " The Wedding of the Painted Doll." The Auckland French Club has arranged, a ball in honour of the officers of tho French cruiser Tourvillo at the Click Clack Cabaret on Monday evening. Tickets may ho obtained from the secretary, Mr. G. H. Bassant.
