TENDERS ACCEPTED.
DRAINAGE BOARD WORKS. Six tenders for tho construction of a branch sewer serving Mount Eden, Mount Albert and Mount Roskill vvsie before the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board last evening. The engineer's estimate was £3820. The lowest tender, that of 11. Bray and Company, at £3llO 17s 6d, was accepted. Five tenders for the construction of an overflow chamber and stormwater culvert at Meola Creek were received. The engineer's estimate was £7BO and the tender of Mr. A. B. Brodio at 13s less than that amount was accepted.
