TRUCE AMONG SCOUTS.
THE CHRISTCHURCH DISPUTE
ALL GRIEVANCES VENTILATED. UNDERTAKINGS BY PARTIES. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] CHRISTCITCJRCH, Thursday. A truce was reached last night in the dispute which .has threatened to disrupt the Boy Scout movement in Christchurch. Seventeen representatives of the troop committees and the scoutors met the district commissioner, Major W. E. S. b urby, and after a lengthy discussion, when all grievances were well ventilated, an agreement was reached by which a district committee will be set up. lhe cases of three district scoutmasters who have been relieved of their warrants will be reviewed by the district commissioner, and an assurance was given that several accounts which have been outstanding will be met.
The meeting was called by the district commissioner, who presided.
