association in waikato. [»y TEi.EOHArit.~.v.v* ronKEsroNDEXT.I HAMILTON, Thursday. An association of Waikato booksellers W ns formed at a meeting in Hamilton yesterday. over which Mr. G. H. Bennett, of Palmei'ston North, organiser of tho Associated Booksellers of New Zealand, presided. The objects are lo foster trade goiierally and 'to encourage co-operation. _ It was felt that if tbo booksellers united books could be obtained at a more favourable price from the publishers, to the advantage of both retailer and customer. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. W. J. Stevens: secretary, Mr. B. Martini; executive (with power to add), Messrs. M. W. Mills and G. Gilford (To Awamutu).
