She is one of the most successful domestic science teachers under the Canterbury Education Board, and has held the position of principal ot the Ph'illipstown Cookery Centra since its start, 30 years ago. During her tour Miss McKeo hopes to gain an insight into domestic science methods abroad.

Supper was served by the ladies, and the hall was then cleared for dancing, which was made more enjoyable by tho uses of an amplifier under the supervision of Mr. E. Carr Smith. Musical items were given by Miss Dawson, Mrs. Tattersall and Mr. Kelly, and' Mr. White gave a recitation.
