POLE'S TERRIBLE DEATH

When the aeroplane in which the Polish airmen were on a transatlantic flight crashed on the island of Graciosa, in the Azores, the oil tank exploded. Major Leon Idzikowski was burned to death in the wreckage. His body will be taken to Warsaw. Major Cnsimir Kubala was badly burned, and is in hospital.
