THREE MEN FOUND DEAD.
FARMER AT FOOT OF TREE*
DEATH RESULTS FROM FALL. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] MASTERTON. Tuesday. A well-known farmer, Frederick Hermann Nicholaus Hoffeins, was found dead at the foot of a tree on his farm at Akura this morning. He apparently had been dead for two or three days. It is thought that he fell from the tree, which he was topping.

DISCOVERY AT HAWERA,
[BT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] HAWERA, Tnecdiy. Tho body of .William Wyatt .Matthew Clark, billiard saloon proprietor, was found, fully clothed, on a couch in a curtained alcox-o of the saloon when the police entered it about 8 o'clock last evening. The body was covered with a billiard table cloth, inside of which was the end of a gas tube fastened to a button hole in Clark's waistcoat. Gas was still coming from tho tube. Clark was last seen alive at 6.30 on Sunday evening, when he left his lodgings to go to tho saloon. He was 57 years of age, unmarried, and had no relatives in Now Zealand.
BODY IN BOTANICAL GARDENS
IDENTITY NOT ESTABLISHED
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Tho body of a man, as yet unidentified, was found hanging from a tree in the Botanical Gardens at midday. There were no papers in the pockets of tho clothing or anything else whereby to establish identity. . The body is. that of a man about i/37 years of ago and sft. Bifl. in height^
