OBITUARY.
MR. J. H. McMASTERS
[I)T TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] WHANGAREI, Tuesday. The death occurred at the Whangarei Hospital yesterday of Mr. James Henry McMasters, agod 66. Mr. McMasters was well known in tho Maromaku district, where ho was engaged for tho greater portion of his lifo in farming. Mr. McMastors went ovorseas with tho New Zealand troops and served for 18 months in Franco, being invalided homo in 1917. On his return he took over a farm at Threo Milo Bush. 110 is survived by a widow.
MR. KOKO RAUNGAITI
[jlY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAUMARUNUI, Tuesday. Tho death has occurred at Taumarunui of a well-known -Maori, Mr. Koko Raungaiti, at tho ago of 40 years. Mr. Raungaiti. was popular both among Europeans and members of his own race, lie had boon ili for only n brief while. A tangi is being held at tho Taumarunui Pa, where many natives have assembled.
