j AUCKLAND ORGANISATION. Nineteen electorates :n the Auckland Province were represented at the confer- : ence of the northern, division of the : United Party, which was held in Auck* ' land on Monday. Mr. A. E. Davy , the 1 chairman of the Dominion executive, pre* j ; sided, and the Dominion organiser, Mr Oscar Moller. was present. The conference was the outcome of a ; new scheme ot organisation adopted by I the Dominion executive. A provincial 1 executive for internal organisation in the ' province was set up. and the following ' officers were appointed :—President, Mr. Ji Trevithick; , vice-president, Mr. C. J. ! Lovegrove: secretary. Mr. H. C. Davy; j divisional organiser, Mr. H. Glover-Clark ] (subject to acceptance). Finance and ' emergency committees were also i appoint ed. | Mr. Davy had nothing to say regarding j the political situation generally, except ! that he was pleased with the progress ' that was being made. In the next, few 1 davs he will attend a number of organisai tion meetings in the city electorates.
