WORKERS' EDUCATION.
CLASS AT POST OFFICE
A branch class of the Workers' Educational Association lias been formed among the employees of the chief post office, where over 30 students have enrolled for tho study of economies. It is expected that other classes will later be formed to study further sections of the syllabus. In opening the class the organiser, Mr. R. S. Wheeler, expressed the hope that the object would bo to make tho students think for • themselves, and thus become broad minded and well-informed citizens. The director, Mr. N. M. Richmond, outlined tho objects of the association, and addressed tho class on "Tho Economic System—Present and Future." Mr. W. I'. Ilay was appointed librarian and Mr. G. E. Smith secretary. Tho acting-secretary of tho department has provided ,a suitable room. Tho formal opening of the classes will probably take place next week, when Mr. J.-J. Kearney, acting-chief postmaster, will give a brio£ address.
