OBJECTION TO REMOVAL

Tho Prime Minister, Mr. Bruce, and the Premier of Queensland, Mr. A. E. Moore, have communicated to London their belief that llio abolition of preferences, as proposed by Mr. Philip Snowden, Chancellor of the Exchequer, would bo a great blow to Australian industries.
Tho loss to the Australian sugar and dried fruits industries, if Mr. Snowden's proposal is carried out, is estimated at £OSO,CCO a year.
