ENGLISH TEAM IN AMERICA. Australian and X.Z. Press Association. (Received July 11, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK. July 13. At South Orange, New Jersey, the Oxford and Cambridge Universities tennis team won four matches to two in the singles, and two matches to one in the doubles against the combined Princeton and Williams Universities' team.
R. Young (New Zealand) defeated Richard ShoalY (Williams), 6—3, 6—3, but paired with Avery (Cambridge) in the doubles lost to Stachan and Thomas (Princeton), 6—4, 6—4.
