BRIDGE AFTERNOON.
The hridce circle ot the Coaunanily Sunshine Association held a very successful bridge nil em of in the Lewis Eadv Hall en Thursday. These afternoon?;, which arc hold oncp in each month, rrere the means last year of raisins a substantia:! amount of money in aid of the work c.f the association, and it is hoped that even greater results may be attained this year. Between oO and 55 tallies were in use and as a result an amount of £l4 was realised. Prizes f'-r stationary and progressive bridge were dven, Mrs. Fuller being, ibe winner of the former and Sirs. Erankhn of the latter. Mrs. X. E. Fcrner presented the prizes and also announced the date of the nest afternoon, which will be held early next month. * Later m the afternoon tea was served bv the committee, in whom were included :—Mrs. F. E. X. Gaudin (president), Mrs. X. E. Fenner. Mrs. Alfred Earlv. Mrs. G. Jackson, Mrs. J. BlomfieldV Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. F. M. Rainger, 31 rs. Williamson, Mrs. Collinson, Mi's. Francis.
