ORPHANS' CLUB.
AUCKLAND GATHERING.
The fortnightly gathering of tho Auckland Orphans' Club was held in Scots Hall, Symonds Street, on Saturday evening. Tho vice-president, Mr. E. Casey, presided. The chairman read a, telegram stating that at the conference in Christchurch that day o£ the associated kindred clubs, Mr. C. E. Jones, of the Christchurch Savage Club, had been elected president in place of Mr. J. D. Crawford, of tho Auckland Orphans' Club, who had retired. The vice-presidents were Messrs. T. T. Garland (Auckland Savage Club), R. C. T. Evans (Dunedin Orphans' Club), and C. Adair (Gisborne Savage Club). Mr. A. E. Loach (Christchurch Savage Club) was re elected secretary.
