LODGE PROCESSION.

LOYAL ORANGE INSTITUTION.

In celebration of the Battle, of the Boyne, the No. 2 District Grand Lodge of the Loyal Orango Institution lieid special services at two city churches yesterday. A procession of about 250 members of the lodges in Auckland city and suburbs marched from the Orange Hall, Newton Road, down Symonds Street and Karangahape Road to the Titt Street Methodist Church yesterday afternoon in full regalia, headed by the, bagpipes. The procession was led by the Lodge banner, and the chief officers of the institution, including the District Grand Master, Brother J. H. Ward, the District Grand Secretary, Mr. A- S. Galbraith, and the District Grand Treasurer, Mr. S. A. Burt. Tho service was conducted by the Rev. A. A. Mutiny, assisted by tho Revs. W. Walker and \V. Gilmour, and the lodge chaplain, the Rev. W. Hayward. After the service the procession marched back to the Orange Hall. Another service was held again in the evening at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Parnell. where the Rev. A. Macdonald Aspland -was the preacher.
