Greater expedition is now being bxperienced by the Waiuku Rural Intermediate Credit Association iu dealing wiUi applications for loans. The last two applications were put through all stages within a month, as against three months or so on previous occasions. The directors of the association meet each Friday, if necessary, to deal with applications. If in order, the applications are then forwarded to the district executive in Auckland, which meets regularly and has power to grant loans up to a certain sum. Applications for larger amounts are referred to the Rural Intermediate Credits Board at Wellington.
