FIRE IN CINEMA.
FOUR PERSONS INJURED.
BRAVE EX-SERVICE MAN
Australian and N.Z. Press Association. (Received July 10. 7.45 p.m.) LONDON. July 12. A crowd of 100 women and children dashed to safety from a blazing cinema at Welling, a village near Woolwich, Kent, Mowing upon a fire in the operator's box. Tho operator and his assistant were seriously burned. The manager and liwo others were also injured. An unemployed ex-serviceman proved to be the hero of the fire. Ho penetrated into tho operator's box after others had leen driven back.
