COASTAL STEAMER SOLD.

GUNBAR CHANGES HANDS. The small coastal steamer Gunbar has been sold to Richardson and Company, Limited, and was taken over by her new owners yesterday. She is a steel vessel of 482 tons and was built at Aidrossan in 1911 for the North Coast Steam Navigation Company, Sydney. Aft or 15 years' service in the New South Wales coastal trade the company sold her to De IViichet, McLood and Company, Limited, Hastings. On October 28, 1926, ihe vessel reached Auckland from Fort Stephens, en route to Napier, where she was reconimissioned in the Now Zealand coastal trade. Since then the vessel has been engaged in the Auckland-East Coast cargo service. Under her new owners she will probably be put on the Napier, Gisbome, Wellington run. Slio left Auckland for Napier, via east coast bays, last evening.
