Many people let ivy get the upper hand upon walls and buildings In truth, it enjoys a protection it by no means deserves and for tho good of the wall and any plants (hat may be struggling near it, tho ivy is better destroyed But if you will not be so ruthless, at least keep it in chock by vigorous pinning and cutting back. Underneath all tho dark foliage, new leaves of pretty have appeared. Clip tho wall nearly bare of all the old foliage and givo tho new foliage a chance. In a very short time the bare spneo will be entirely covered again.
