CHEERIO GAZETTES.

JUNE PRIZE-WINNERS. The Cheerio Gazettes for our Birthday competition were all exceptionally well done, and it was very hard, indeed, to select thtS two most deserving of the fiveshilling prizes. These have been awarded to Eileen Garret, f'apamoa, Tauranga, and Hay Kelly, School House, Ohaupo. A special book prize has also been awarded to Jim Middleton, M.8.G., who sent in one of the most beautiful Chcerios " that have yet been received. Every page contained an item from Boys and Girls," and was bordered with brightly-coloured cut-out designs of birds, fruit, and flowers.

Gold and Silver Stars have also been awarded to the following:— Girls. —Sheila Quin.n, Marjorio Cooper, Joyce Barker, Sissy Stark, Frances Brcmner, Thelma Teague, Kathlyn Judrl, Ada Woods, Joan Hill, Doris llill, Annio Monntfort, Marjorio Atkins, Gilbert Cooper, Parr Shirley Roadlcy, Lilian Gordon, Joyce Wcsthead, Edna Stark. Boys.—Gordon McKee. Walter Willis, Gordon Svmes, Gerald Souster.

Two five-shilling prizes will also bo awarded for the best Chcerios for July.
