Night after night spiritualists 111 the Valleys of Monmouthshire meet to "bring back " dead relatives and friends.
Nowhero in Wales has spiritualism gained moro ground than in these valleys, whore it has claimed hundreds of adherents. Midnight sittings aro favoured, and it is a common occurrenco to see boys and girl 3 returning homo in tho early hours of tho morning, after sitting for hours in tho darkness with mediums, often unemployed colliers or servant girls. A prominent opponent of spiritualism said recently that unemployment, and consequently a greater amount of leisure, had much to do with tho increase.
