There are 62 British children at Ypres. Until tho other day they had to attend Belgian schools, where they learned little or nothing of the history of their own country or its literature. Tho fathers of these children arc tho gardeners who tend tho graves of tho hundreds of British soldiers near Ypres.
Etonians decided to give these children an English school, and they collected £2OOO to start it, with a promise of a further £2OO overy year toward the upkeep. Tho London C<sunty Council has lent two teachers, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Morris. Other public Bchools have been invitod to help*
