SOJOURN AT MURCHISON
LADY ALICE FERGUSSON GOING.

WELLINGTON. Friday
The Governor-General, Sir Charles I< er gusson, aracl Lady Alice tergusson propose next week to visit some of tho areas on the west coast of the South Island which have been badly affected by tho'earthquake.
Leaving Wellington on Tuesday evening. Their Excellencies will arrive at Greyniouth the following afternoon. I'ho next morning, Thursday, they will leave Greymouth by motor and arrive at West port that afternoon. Friday and Saturday will bo spent in tho Westport and Seddonvillo areas. On Sunday afternoon Reefton will bo reached.
On Monday, July 22, Their Excellencies will leave Reufton for Murchison, provided the roads aro not impassable. Ihey hope to reach thcro early that afternoon. They will stay at Murchison for tho night and will le:i,ve tho following day for Nelson, catching the steamer tho same evening for Wellington, where they are due to arrive on the morning cf Wednesday, July 24.
