Donald, Post-master-General.- Speaking in the House this evening Mr. Donald said he would take the opport unity of voicing his opinions on the matter befoie a Select Committee of the House. ''l shall not be afraid to open my mouth when the time comes, however." lie that the wheatgrowers and the llourmillers had been bleeding the people of New Zealand for a considerable number of years, and they had received a great donl more protection than they were entitled to. The Minister said ho was not against a duty being placed on wheat and flour, because be realised that it was for the good of New Zealand that those, commodities should be protected. He objected, however, to a heavy duty being imposed. During the cloction be had Staled he would vote for a reduction in the duty, and he proposed to carry out his promise.
