A SOCIAL EVENING.
On Tuesday evening iri the V.W.C.A. social room the members of (lie visiting ladies' hockey trams worn entertained by the members of tlie Auckland Indies' executive committee and tho members of (lie Auckland teams participating in the tournament at present being held at the I,'emuera grounds. The evening was spent in games, musical items and competitions. Contributing to the programme were Misses E. Burton, M. Farland. M. Matthews, P, H. Dawson, K. McGill arid V. Derham and F. Cooper. Misses M. Mongomory (Northern Wairoa), V. Buekton (Rodney), A. Babe (Whangarei), E. MePherson (ITauraki Plains) and M. Farland were the winners i of the competitions during the evening.
