Mr. D. T. P. McArthur, secretary-man-ager of tho To Aw a rati iu Electric-Power Board, who was recently granted holiday leave to recuperate his health, was tins week presented by his staff with a handsome tobacco pouch and caso of pipes. At a farewell social tendered to Mr. and Mrs. Arndt and family on Saturday evening at the residence, of Mr. and Mrs. 11. V." Chapman, Morrinsville, a premutation of a shaving set and satchel was made to Mr. Amdt and of a jardiniere > Mrs. Amdt by Mr. Chapman.
