[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN* CORRESPONDENT.] ' WELLINGTON, Tuesday.
"It. is sincerely hoped that tho new Parliament will remove the ban on tho publication of dividends," said Mr. 11. F. Nieoll, president of tho New Zealand Trotting Conference, in his address at the annual meeting to-day. "This and tho law which prevents club? from accepting investments from beyond tho course arc restrictions upon sport which have entirely failed (o attain the objects desired by Parliament when they wore passed. The subject is so well known and understood, both by llio conference and by tiie Government, that it is unnecessary to more than mention tho subject, and in looking for the removal of 'these restrictions we arc only asking for tho right to tho full uso of public facilities in tho samo manner as (hey arc used by every other section ul tho community."
