The Takapuna branch of the. League of Mothers held its monthly meeting yesterday afternoon at the Parish llall in An/.ae Street. A large gathering of members attended. .Mrs. d. Bartrum, president ui the branch, introduced Miss Driver, a missionarv from India, who spoke of the work for Christianity that was being done in India, and of how Indian women were benefiting by those changes.
