PAPATOETOE BRANCH.
The annual meeting of the Papatoetoo branch of the New Zealand Political Reform League was held last week. Officers were elected as follows:—President, Dr. A. B. Jameson; vice-president, Mr. J. McFarland; secretary and treasurer, Mr. T. Suiytheman; assistant secretary, Mr. 11. Ernest; executive, Messrs. Gilbert, Meyer, Grinter, Trimble, Nicholson, W. Wilson and S. Gubb. A motion was carried unanimously congratulating I lie 111. Hon. J. G. t'oatcs, Leader of the. Opposition, on tho "statesmanlike manner in which ho had expressed himself iu the House of Represent at iws."
