SCHEME FOR LANDING AREA.

The Kailaia Aero Club is viewing possible aerodrome sites following on the spmpathctic view of the project taken by tho .Minister of Defence. Tho Town Board and County Council have agreed to give all support possible. Tho club officials have already inspected several sites and 0110 of 200 acres is regarded as tho most suitable. It is flat, open and dry. Should this be acquired it is considered that Kailaia will have tho largest landing ground in tho Dominion, and several schemes for raising tho necessary money havo already beon mooted.
