POSTPONEMENT ANNOUNCED

NO CAUSE FOR ALARM. I Australian and N.Z. PrcsH Association. (Received July 8, 11.55 p. 111.) LONDON. July B.' The King's contemplated journey to Sandringliarn has been cancelled. The following bulletin, signed by His Majesty's doctors, has been issued from Buckingham Palace: — "The King is not fatigued after the ceremony of thanksgiving. Though His Majesty's general health is good the condition of the sinus (cavity) in the right chest, has not. made satisfactory progress. "In order to gain the assistance of a further ray examination His Majesty's departure for Sandringliarn has been postponed for a short period." All tho arrangements had been mado for tho King's journey. Tho Royal servants actually were at tho station when the visit was cancelled. Lord Dawson was called in last night and other doctors to-day. When tho news was rumoured a crowd gathered outside the Palace to await the bulletin. Tho King's doctors are satisfied there is no cause for alarm. His Majesty has no temperature and ho is not confined to bed. A sinus is a narrow, elongated cavity in which pus is collected. MESSAGE TO PRIMATE. HIS MAJESTY'S THANKS. REVERENCE IN THE ABBEY. Tho King's private secretary, Lord Stamfordham, has sent the following message to tho Primate and Archbishop of Canterbury, l)r Cosmo Lang:— " His Majesty returned from Westminster Abbey with feelings of thankfulness and satisfaction that his earnest desire to join his people in the act of thanksgiving had been accomplished. "To the Archbishop of Canterbury, tho Dean and Chapter of Westminster and to all responsible for the carrying out of tho service His Majesty expresses his heartfelt gratitude. " Tho wholo ceremony displayed reverence, dignity and beauty of holiness, which in the setting of the glorious Abbey seemed to complete the sacrifice of thanksgiving offered by the King and his people for a'll the benefits received at the hand of God."
