ENGINEER INJURED.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.'] WAIPUKURAU, Monday.
An engineer and contractor, Mr. R. Climio, was injured on Saturday when ob taining ballast metal from tho Tukituki River for the Railway Dopartment. He had adjusted a drag-lirio machine, which was hauling the shinglo through tho liver, when the tower at which ho was standing was suddenly thrown over. He was pinned to the ground, and when he was removed it was found that ho had a fractured fihoulder and scalp wounds. Mr. Climio is in the Waipukurau Hospital, where his condition is satisfactory.
