WORK OF IMPROVEMENT.

Relief workers omployed by tho Hamilton Boiough Council havo carried out important improvements to Jubileo Park, an area of bush on the Show Ground at Claudelands which was rocontly vested in tho council. Entrances are being provided from Ilukanui and Boundary Roads, whilo winding gravelled paths are being formed through tho bush. The undergrowth has been cleared away and a belt of flax is being planted as a shel tor. It is proposed later to instal gas rings for tho uso of picnickers. Tho bush is very beautiful, consisting principally of kahikatea and cabbage trees spread over about 12 acres. It should became a popular resort for picnic parties in tho summer.
