HIGH COMMISSIONER.
RECEPTION IN LONDON.
LARGE NUMBER ENTERTAINED. Australian Press Association—United Service LONDON, July 4. The High Commissioner for New Zealand, Sir James Parr, and Lady Parr gave a dance and ai reception at the Mayfair Hotel to 500 guests. These included the High Commissioners of the other Dominions, the Agents-General, representatives of the Boards of Education and of Trade, the Foreign Office and London and Provincial Chambers of Commerce.
The Secretary of State for the Dominions, Lord Passficld, was present, with hi s wife, who continues to call herself Mrs. Sidney Webb.
