LAVA FLOW AT AMBRYM.

HOW 200 NATIVES ESCAPED. (Received July 5, 5,5 p.m.) SYDNEY. July 5... Advices from Ambrym Island state thai as a result of the volcanic eruption on Friday last a missionary, Mr. Taylor, of New Zealand, was caught by the lava, and is now in hospital. The flow of lava was a quarter of a mile wide. The molten stream flowed 25 miles to the sea at five different points. Two hundred natives who were in the danger zono escaped in a launch to a neighbouring island.
