COMMITTEE'S INQUIRIES.
A COMPLICATED TASK. (Received July 5, 5.-5 p.m.) British Wireless. RUGBY, July 4. Mr. J. H. Thomas, Lord Privy Seal, was questioned in the House of Commons about the Channel tunnel. He said the project involved a large number of geological, engineering, economic and other technical problems. The worE of the committee now inquiring into the matter was well advanced and its report would be available befoio the end of the year.
